Frequently Asked Questions

Handy answers to the questions we get asked most often.

Can you give me a quote over the phone?

Unfortunately not — to determine the best price to remove your tree it's best to inspect it in person. However, we offer a free, no-obligation quote.

Are you insured?

Yes, we have full comprehensive Public Liability Insurance to the value of $20 million. We take all care and precautions to eliminate risk, but in the case of unavoidable incidents, we guarantee any damaged property will be fixed as promptly as possible with as little inconvenience to you as we can manage.

Can you prune my neighbour's trees overhanging my yard?

Legally, yes. However we encourage you to have a chat with them first — quite often they're happy to help out with costs.

Do I need council permission to remove my tree?

Depending on your suburb and the type of tree, you may need to seek permission from your local council. It's not advisable to assume you can remove or lop a tree — always call your council or check their website first. If you're unsure, feel free to contact us on (07) 3288 7777.

Can I get a quote to trim my tree?

Tree trimming and pruning quotes usually need a quick on-site look, since price depends on the tree's height, canopy size, access, and how close it is to structures or power lines. Quotes are always free and no-obligation — fill out our quick quote form or call (07) 3288 7777 and we'll arrange a time to come take a look.

Can I get a quote for firewood?

Yes — firewood is sold by the 1 cubic metre load, roughly a good ute load. Pricing depends on current stock and your delivery location, so the best way to get an accurate quote is to contact us with your suburb and we'll confirm availability for you. Demand is highest through the cooler months, so it's worth getting in touch early in autumn/winter to secure your order.

Can I get a quote to spray my weeds?

Weed spraying pricing depends on the size of the area and the type of vegetation involved, so we always arrange a quick site visit to give you an accurate, free, no-obligation quote. Get in touch with a few details about your job and we'll organise a time to come take a look.

Can I keep the mulch?

Yes — the wood chip mulch from your job is yours to keep, free of charge. If you'd rather not keep it, we're happy to cart it away for you.
