Site preparation for development often requires land to be cleared before construction begins. Careful planning is required to protect flora and fauna, and to minimise the removal of protected plant species. Our arborists — qualified to AQF Level 3 (Certificate III in Arboriculture) — work with property developers to assess land clearing projects, providing the best advice to achieve the desired outcome while ensuring council requirements are met — failing to meet council regulations can mean unnecessary delays and expense, and an Arborist report is generally necessary during planning.
We handle land clearing projects of any size, from large site preparation to smaller residential jobs, and all waste is recycled into forest mulch. We assess and minimise the environmental impact of our work, and stay compliant with applicable environmental statutory requirements throughout.
Before You Clear: Know Which Rules Apply
Clearing in Queensland is regulated, and two separate systems can apply to the same property — state vegetation management law for regulated native vegetation, and your local council for most urban trees. People regularly apply the wrong one. Our guide to QLD land clearing laws explains the difference and how to check your block before any machinery is booked.
